After the Q it's Intersexed, Agender, Asexual, and Ally community.

The + symbol is for all of the other sexualities, sexes, and genders that aren't included in the rest of the letters.

Was this in play before he got there? Seems like a weird arse first initiative if it’s F Kings doing.

He’s not even employed at OSU, yet

He’s still on faculty at LSU until end of March. Starts at OSU in the summer.

All these bullshite jobs at universities amaze me.

Queer Affairs coordinator?
WTF

Union Director?
Does running a student Union really need to be done by a "director"?

Every damn group gets its own little advocate on staff.

We could cut 25% of University employees and NORMAL students would see zero effect.

I mean if you’re hung up on the title, I guess they could be called a Manager.

I can’t speak for the OSU Union, but the LSU Union is open ~18 hours a day, has a good 150 people working at some 15-20 businesses, plus a production theater, and student programming.

Someone has to manage all that stuff. It’s also an Auxillary unit at LSU so it cannot receive a “bailout” from the general fund if it goes in the red.

I feel like all the + people are going to be upset for being marginalized by the rest of the alphabet-symbol alliance of nut jobs.

I get that a union is large and has several working parts.

Dude, it's food service and shite.
How many of those employees make under $15/hr?

Also, aren't nearly all the employees contractors employed by third party companies? Sodexho etc?

This
quote:

university will offer free feminine hygiene products in campus building restrooms “regardless of gender.”

Does not accomplish this ...

to alleviate student’s budgets to other things such as food/groceries, books, gas, rent, etc.
quote:

We are adding these resources to all bathrooms

I guess it's normal now to just shite on men. How are feminine hygiene products going to help a man with his budget.

Other universities have tried this with just women’s bathrooms and it failed miserably.

LSU's Women's Center has provided free feminine hygiene products for 2 years in restrooms across campus. It is wildly popular and growing rapidly.

Their name is kinda funny, "Period Project"

I wouldn’t bother explaining.

That dude literally has no clue how anything works or everything that the LSU Union has under it.

as not all students who menstruate are female-identified, some may identify as LGBTQIA+, male, other, etc. Those students may not be comfortable entering a specific bathroom if we provided these resources only in a specific bathroom, and would exclude them from receiving these resources.

Looks like something out of the Onion.
