It’s a fundraiser/charity music festival and BBQ competition. Started 16 years ago and has grown into what it is now.
There are now 2 Hogs houses, one in Baton Rouge and one in NOLA.
Rene, one of the founders is a neighbor and friend of mine, I was recruited to join one of the teams to help raise money and so far we’re doing pretty well.
I’ve been attending the event for the past several years but since it was always right in the middle of my son’s baseball season I was never able to commit until now.

It just seems to me that there are a lot more homely fatties at TV news desks these days.
