City councilman on WBRZ this morning was saying he’s not letting Woodlawn high school go, saying that if St. George wants that and other school properties they should have to buy them.

I hope St. George gets every penny of the tax money from the past five years they paid in while this was held up in litigation. These assholes stalled this out, held free citizens hostage and refused to allow them to self govern, and took every penny they could from the part of the parish that actually pays taxes.

I really want this to be such a death knell on Baton Rouge that they are forced to drastically change the cancerous decline they have settled into because of the racist bullshite this city has engaged in at every political level for decades.

Burn it to the fricking ground.

I hope every major city in Louisiana and eventually the country follows suit. This is the solution to black people destroying their cities, putting every business in their neighborhoods out of business, making their neighborhoods so dangerous that no one even wants to visit a gas station, then leeching off of the wealthy non-ghetto parts of town to keep themselves alive.

Hopefully the north side of Chicago, parts of New Orleans, parts of Houston, etc. all branch off and leave these grifter politicians to their shitholes

Yep I saw that. He is an idiot. That was already paid for by the taxpayers and not the city of Baton Rouge. If we play by his rules then the city of Baton Rouge owes St. George for a portion of every school within the city limits since we partially paid for those.

Also, he straight up said that they “We are currently going through the process to make sure we can annex as many properties as possible.” Well that’s illegal. And if he’s soliciting other city council people to break the law, that’s collusion. He can’t solicit annexation. It has an actual process and must be petitioned to the council.

So, in the absence of white people, their community turns to shite?

Weird admission, but okay.

But are they the right kind of blacks?

The kind over educated, always complaining type? Or the ones that want to just be left alone and live away from the nonsense? Take a wild guess which kind the naacp values.

One thing is certain: if the NAACP is against it, you should be in favor of it.

The NAACP don't give a single frick about black people. They use any opportunity to get in the news. They are a non profit and like many non-profits they eventually become a shell of what they started off to be and giving them any type of attention is what they want.

I shared a story on here about meeting.. I forget his name... George something. Used to have something to do with the NAACP in Louisiana. He was the one who made a big deal about Southern starting a white QB in the 1990s.

Anyway, I met the dude a few years before he passed away. He had a ramp van and went to the same place I go to get ramp van worked on, etc. He was actually pretty cool... in a one on one conversation.. Dude told me all about his game with Edwin Edwards. He said Edwin Edwards took care of him and he would vote for him no matter what he was running for.. But he pretty much found things to make a race issue about.. Get the black people worked up and then when it came time to vote, he would tell them all how it was important that Edwin Edwards was governor bc he was going to take care of the black community.''

Now.. Anytime I see NAACP I just assume they really have no interest in helping the situation they are involved in, its just an opportunity for them.

As representatives of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the NAACP, we are deeply committed to safeguarding the well-being, education, and economic security of Black people and all persons of color in our city. It is with this commitment in mind that we address you today regarding the recent Louisiana Supreme Court decision supporting the incorporation of the proposed city of St. George and the Louisiana Legislature’s proposal of House Bill 6.

If this group was really interested in safeguarding the well being of all persons of color wouldn’t you think they would be out there going after the gangs, the drug dealers, and the scum that is destroying their neighborhoods?

What are they doing to correct the culture of violence that permeates their neighborhoods?

It’s not happening because of SG. It’s not happening because of a lack of dollars being poured into education. It’s happening because of the culture in those communities.

As I dig deeper, it seems he is as racist as BroomHilda, but he’s also smarter, and should be able to read the room on this.

James is definitely more polished and he seems more professional.

A good mayor is s as good administrator, a good executive, a good leader and a good organizer.

The problem comes when mayors begin caring more about politics than about providing the required services to their constituents.

I thought less white people was supposed to be a good thing. It’s their circus now; what a great opportunity for them to showcase their
#black-excellence.

There are a bunch of folks in S. Shreveport all over this issue.
There is a black majority on the City Council in Shreveport, and the perception is that they are driving an racial agenda where the burdens are borne very disproportionately on the basis of race. There will be huge pushback.
