Man, if she doesn't go she'll resent you for the rest of your life.

Split up. Enjoy some freedom.
If she comes back and still wants you, great. If not, you'll live.

She travels a lot, but this is out of left field.

I'd doubt the 6 month part. You either love or hate Dubai. I thought it was awesome and I'd go work there in a heartbeat.

Leslie and Ben love each other. Leslie let Ben go run a campaign in Washington putting their life plans on hold, but he eventually came back and proposed.

Life works out sometimes.

Call off the wedding, bro. They will be licking oil off her buttcheeks before you can, "baklava".

Is the your first fiancée? If so just ride it out and chalk it up to a learning experience.

Maybe this should be a spinoff, but has anyone successfully taken a "break" from a relationship? And by "success," I mean that you reunited at the end of it.

This board always shocks me on situations like this. If she travels as much as you say and the assignment will let her grow in what appears to be a successful career, what's the issue?

s to take a six month assignment in Dubai. I don't know

Apparently there is no wedding date set otherwise her focus the next 6 months would be on the wedding and not Dubai.

What is her occupation and how much money does she make?

Is there any chance yall can get married before she leaves?

Don't try a break. Don't bring it up.

Seriously, get the ring back and bail if she decides to go.
