Yep, that's how I roll. Up against the curb and extra room on the driver door side.

I actually wonder if there’s some psychological aspect to this. Like the person feels safer or the need to be next to someone else

Maybe I can get a govt grant to study that

Death by firing squad?

Just got a new vehicle, parked as far as I possibly could from my place of employment. Walk outside after work to a ford focus parked so close to my vehicle that I had to climb through the passenger side to get in.

A fellow baw was walking to his truck and saw my situation. Yelled out and pointed at the car next to me “What an a-hole”

Contemplating keying said car, but it was already a piece of shite. May have increased the value

This makes me irrationally mad when it happens.

I wouldn't say they were an a-hole unless for some reason you thought the move was intentional.

Being unaware and oblivious to some obvious things around you doesnt necessarily make you an a-hole.

Disagree. To me, that’s the exact definition

People who are arseholes enjoy being arseholes. Not that you would see evidence of that on the OT.

If you’re already parking at the far end of the lot and there’s like 20+ empty spaces over there, just center it on the line and take up two spaces. I do this and take up 4 when trailering my boat and need to duck into a grocery store on my way to the camp.

I swear, I could park my truck on the moon, and some dipshit will find a way to park right next to me.

My gym still has prison showers and it always shocks me when a grown arse man will take the shower head in an otherwise completely empty shower directly behind me. Like, bro, use the other side.

Didn’t you see the thread the other day? The world is going to shite because dudes don’t spend enough time hanging out in locker rooms with their dicks out. You’re just doing your part.

Equally insane is the rare time I go to a movie and, despite many open seats, some fricker comes and sits right beside me. Last time, the whole row was open except our seats, and a gal settled in next to me. WTF

Waiting rooms, the gym (treadmill or something), church....etc. I do not understand it AT ALL. Completely empty waiting room? Sure, sit right next to me. People are weird.

Your car isn't special. I will park especially close to the line too.
Imagine buying a car and being scared to drive it in public.

Imagine being an a-hole who needs a beatdown badly.

I actually saw a meme as a better option:

You carry zip ties in your car, and when someone parks like an a-hole, you zip tie a shopping cart to their driver’s door handle.

It’s perfect

Man, the OT has taken a decidedly blue collar turn.
