I have two bins but just throw everything in the normal bin. You can put anything in the normal bin, they only look in the recycle bin to make sure it only has recyclable stuff.

How much does the landfill charge you for each dump?
Also, I'm sure driving through landfills is good for your retread tires.

this kinda shite is why you sound like a woman I have a recycle bin. I do not sort all my trash. The only things I put in the recycle bin are large boxes, milk crates, etc. I'm not sorting everything.

y'all know so little about TN.
the recycling center/dump is behind the fire station in the most EXCLUSIVE part of the city. Kirk Herbstreit lives less than a mile from it.

Right, it's not like I sit there and go through the bins each week sorting them out. Obvious recyclables like beer/wine bottles, aluminum cans, junk mail, boxes, and plastics find their way to the recycling bin, everything else ends up in the trash.

We have a big rolling bin and a recycle bin from the city. My wife used to harp on my about making sure it was just recyclables in the bin which I just shook my head at. I finally had to show her one time when the garbage came to be collected that they just dump the trash can and then dump the recyclables into the same truck. It told her it was like eating, "it all ends up in the same place in the end."

You know they make garbage trucks with divided off sections. Half the truck could be trash and half can be recycling.

We have a parish tax that pays for trash pickup for everyone in the parish. Just bring it to the end of your drive the evening before your designated day and it gets picked up the next day. This happens once a week.
