I must have awful timing. I’ve been to the one in AL 4 times and each time the traffic has been awful.
Weekends in the summer, laet spring, and early fall are awful. Orange beach/Gulf Shores vacationers, that is when we often go there. I have been in earlier spring before school lets out, and it is not nearly as bad.

do you make a point to stop at a bucees everytime you're near one?

No. Have lived in Katy over a decade. Hard to get out of Katy without driving past one.

If east - Baytown
If west - Katy and Luling if going as far as San Antone
If Austin - Bastrop
If College Station - Hempstead

So over a decade I've stopped at all these at least once.

Buccees is well-run. Cheap gas. Clean restrooms. Good grab-n-go sandwiches.

These guys are building these stations all over the country. They probably have a better idea what the traffic issues will be and how to avoid.

Hell, lets give the management of Bucees, Chicfila, and Texas Roadhouse a stab at running this country.

It'd probably improve things.

We can't even synchronize existing traffic lights in BR.

They are synchronized.

They’re timed perfectly to make sure every car catches every red light.

My dumbass pulled into the Robertsdale, AL location with a camper on a weekend in July.

Was not an easy experience.

Same. Maybe these other baws should let their wives drive.

No matter how packed: I never wait in a check out line more than a minute. The exit out is an easy drive and hop on interstate.

I have never been. Never had a need to stop when I happen to be near one and I'm not making a special stop just to go.

You and I are not alike. I often don't need to stop, but will to top off, use the restroom, and grab a snack. Never have I drove off thinking, the stop wasn't worth it. Never had to stand in line more that I think 30 seconds even when it's outrageously packed before getting to the register.

I stopped at one in South Carolina and Auburn for work recently and both places were on their game.

I live a half mile away from a Buccees (Temple) and never go because of getting out of there.

I've been to that one a few times and don't remember ever having any issues. Maybe bad by Texas standards but still better than anything in this state.
