I saw something a few years ago with an actor you said that Denzel Washington advised him not get caught up in hollywood. He said Denzel told him its okay to go show your face at those parties, but get out well before midnight.
He said he went to his first hollywood party, was having fun and at midnight the music changed, the mood changed, etc and he saw things he didn't want to see.. I thought some of that shite might have been exaggerated, but these hollywood people are sick fricks.

I don’t see how after Weinstein and metoo that it’s still shocking to people that Hollywood is full of sexual deviants. Or that children don’t get sexually exploited in that industry.

That's my opinion anyway. Trying to minimize or reduce your sentence because you got caught is chicken shite.
Edit: I'll presume my dv'ers are of the group that if they knowingly do something against the law or morally deviant they would try to deflect or justify their actions if caught.

Sorta, to make a long story short I know someone who knew what he was doing was illegal. When he was caught he readily entangled others in the conspiracy to lesson his time. Most were small time recreational users. They'd visit and he'd give them more than they wanted and said pay me later. They'd walk out the door and BAMM! Arrested.
Some ended up with 3-5 years because of it. The ironic part is if he would have took responsibility he'd have been given either probation or less than a year.
