States it is not a solicitation for real estate or a timeshare, but there is an angle here for sure. Nothing is free.

I imagine they will pester the shite out of someone and try to beat them into submission - sign up for whatever it is.

I normally don’t post crap like this but 7 day / 6 night seems like a deal - although I don’t think I am a fan of cruises.

I wouldn’t even go on a cruise if you paid me. Carnival cruises are basically floating trailer parks.

And that's exactly why I enjoy the frick out of them, as a trashy individual myself.

What about Norwegian or Royal? Aren’t they more premium?

I couldn’t imagine the low life scum that will be hovering over you every waking moment and then having to deal with your fellow WalMarks travelers.

More like floating section 8 apartments.

My son called me yesterday with the same question. He got that exact thing in the mail. I told him to throw it away.

Went on a RC cruise last year after sweating I’d never do another cruise because of Carnival. It’s a noticeably nicer clientele. Don’t get me wrong, there’s still some trash, but it’s much less than on Carnival. Food was much better too.

I got one of those yesterday too. We were actually thinking about calling because the wife and I do two Royal Caribbean cruises a year as it is. Would be nice to get one of those paid for or get a third one on the house

I've always thought of Carnival more like a floating Ryan's Steakhouse

I looked it up, it’s for a travel club membership. So I guess technically not a timeshare or real estate thing but basically the same thing.

If you google 2024 Travel and Adventure Show there’s a Reddit thread about it.

I imagine they won’t hound you all 6 nights. What happens if you simply don’t go to the presentations? It’s not like they can ask you to leave.

This is the most OT thing ever. An OTGT funded by Carnival sales pitch vouchers.

You give them your name address email and phone number. They never actually privide the cruise I think is what most people said online. All the dates are blacked out, they mail you a redemption certificate you never get= those types of things.

You have to go to the “Travel and adventure show” to receive your cruise. That’s where the sales pitch happens. Then they give you the cruise.

They add "travel agency fees" on top of the free cruise to cover their cost. So the cruise is free, you just have to pay $700 in fees. Here's people discussing last year's mailer:
