That Chapter covers lots of cases, cold and solved. Criminally Listed is another YouTube channel that covers crime stories.

The woman who was last seen jogging past Pennington on Perkins. Must’ve been in the late 90’s. Always stuck with me for some reason. Don’t believe they ever found her body.

Anyone else remember that? White lady.

That wasn’t a Derrick Todd Lee victim?

Jessica Chambers. Just watched a YouTube true crime show about it last week. Think he was convicted of a crime in Louisiana

Yep. The local cops in north MS screwed up the case so badly that they’d never be able to convict Quinton Tellis for her murder. Two trials ended in hung juries. He later killed a girl in LA and got busted on that one.

I know an officer with the MBI, and I asked him if he thought Quinton Tellis was really Jessica’s killer. He said he had zero doubts about that. I trust his professional opinion.

For many people in Cali up until 2018, it was the Golden State killer. DNA was used to create a genetic profile of the killer and they used that to narrow down the suspects.

The genetic profile came from a guy in Louisiana

Angela Hammond

April 4, 1991. Clinton, Missouri.

Twenty year old Angela worked at a bank and was engaged to a young man named Rob. At about 10 PM Angela dropped Rob off at his house after both attended a BBQ. They had planned to meet up later after Rob's mom got home because Rob had to watch over his little brother.

At 11:15 P.M., Angela left a friend's house and stopped at a pay phone located about 7 blocks from Rob's house. She called Rob and they began chatting as usual.

During the conversation Angela mentioned that an old Ford Pickup truck was circling the block. (No one was else was out on the streets at that hour as Clinton is a very small town). A minute or so later, Angela told Rob the pickup truck pulled up next to her at the payphone. Angela described the guy as a middle-aged white male wearing overalls, glasses and had an overall disheveled appearance. Rob and Angela kept talking.

A minute or so later, Rob heard Angela scream. Rob kept yelling for her, but she never came back to the phone. Rob immediately ran outside, jumped in his car and sped to the pay phone (it was really close by).

On his way, he saw a Green pickup pass him at a high rate of speed. He said he caught a glimpse of Angela fighting with the man. Rob slammed on the breaks, threw his car in reverse and took off after them. He tailed them for a minute and then his car gave out on him. He says he suspects he tore up his transmission when he slammed the car in reverse. He got out of his car, stood in the street, and watched them drive off into the night.

Angela is still missing and her body has never been found. Rob was suspected early on, but Police have cleared him. They had his transmission checked and it indeed had been thrown out.

Rob gave one other detail to Police. He said after the man grabbed Angela he heard him say in the background "I didn't need to use the phone anyway."

(Scene from "Unsolved Mysteries" reenactment).

The truck had a decal with a pole reeling in a fish on the back window.

Again, surely someone recognized the truck? Unsolved Mysteries was a Top 10 show in the early 90s. Surely someone knows someone within driving distance of Clinton Missouri who has that decal?

Hardee Schmidt was the female that Sean Vincent Gillis hit with a car off quail run, near Pennington.

Local ones that stick out are

Marianne Fowler — abducted from subway in Port Allen ~2002 . Wife of ex politician who was doing federal time for taking bribes. Likely was one of DTL’s killings.

The group of girls missing in Jennings. We’re the police involved.

Barbara Blount— elderly lady vanishes in LP in 2008. I know the local podcaster is working this case now.
