What is the most terrified you have ever been?

Stayed out at a downtown club in Memphis too long. I evidently hit on a gang bangers woman. She was into me and we were dancing. They were having some issues and she was making him jelly. I walked out of the club expecting a drive by. He arranged a few of his baws to greet us on the way out. To this day I have no idea how I walked away from that one.

When I was in Amite Louisiana getting gas and a man jumped into the back seat of my truck. My wife thought quickly and grabbed my gun off the center console and gave it to me as I went to confront him. Once he saw the business end of my pistol, he got out and was arrested. Someone tried breaking into the house years ago around 2:00am. The alarm woke the wife and me up and for all we knew, the motherfricker was inside the house. I went from room to room with my gun drawn, safety off, and finger near the trigger as I opened each door (it was just the wife and I at that time so any movement or sound on the other side and I was shooting.
I always talked the talk but to be in that moment, alarm still blaring in a dimly lit home, and to be THAT ready and THAT willing to kill another human being was the most intense feeling I've ever felt.
Luckily after a minute or so we realized nobody was inside and they ran after the alarm started. But man that was scary.

I was once hunting in the woods on a friend's property while I was packing my things to leave the stand I heard a shot, I was told that no one was on the land hunting along with me so I went check it out and about 10 min into walking I saw a flashlight roaming and I called out thinking it was a friend of mine well it sure wasnt. I found out someone snuck onto the land and was illegally hunting without permission I sure never went back there lol
