No doubt, go big or go home. And if you’re like me and you marry a woman who can’t cook, you get it all in the divorce.

My uncle gave us a box of pliers, screwdrivers, picture hangers, extension cords, screws, scissors, and all sorts of of items which we immediately put to use.

except for all the fine china, Christmas china ,everyday china that's been used maybe once in 30 yrs. Zero times for the fine glassware. I was almost 30 so there wasn't much I didn't have.

we use it for all special occasions at home + anytime guests come over. I was determined not to be that person too afraid to use my china.

I am not afraif of using it but I hate washing by hand. The everyday plates go in the dishwasher

I got out the nice crystal wine glasses gifted us from the wedding and poured a glass the other day and got bitched at by my wife for using them

They’re for “special occasions” though I’ve yet to see such occasion where she uses them. Including family Christmas Eve dinner. She used regular glasses because the crystal ones with the gold rim have to be hand washed. So I guess they’ll continue to take up cabinet space for no reason

We got a gravy boat from my cousin Ron (who I’ve always hated) and his wife Marcia.

Wasn’t this the plot an “Everybody Loves Raymond” or King of Queens episode.

All the good shite I could have had instead of that stuff.
