I mean it was clearly posted on the internet to show how stupid current applicants are, so it's only fair to point out that whoever created/posted the application isn't too bright themselves.

We're only dealing with a factor of 1,000 between the 2 numbers listed.

You can put as many trailing zeros behind that decimal as you want and it will still equal a penny every time.

As an employer if baffles me. Common sense is not common today. If you find a good employee at any level do what it takes to keep them.

ok so the person that made the employee form got it wrong, since there is no such thing as 1 PENNIES

it's 1 Penny or 2 Pennies

You wouldn't say 1.034 pennies? As soon as you introduce a decimal, even if it is zero, the number becomes plural in the English language.

But it doesn't say 1.034, it says 1.000. Which is the same as 1. Or 1.0. Or 1.0000000000.

It doesn't matter how many decimals you add, it's 1 penny.

I've had that happens several times in estate work.

Only child of one sibling gets Dad's 1/4, Two children of another sibling who passed split Dad's 1/4 so they get 1/8 each.

The call "Why do I get 1/4 when my two cousin each get 1/8? Why are they getting more?

Would you rather half a pizza or a quarter of a pizza?

:"Half"

Would you rather have 1/2 of a pizza or 1/3, a quarter?

"Oh, I get it."

$10.00 is greater than 1,000 pennies. Which would you rather have?
