WWE Monday Night Raw Thread: Wrestlemania XL Go Home Edition

Fun surprise on Collision on Saturday with former "Edge head" Matt Cardona making a surprise appearance and having a solid match with Adam Copeland for the TNT Championship
Also... glad to see that Ricky Starks is apparently ok following a scary spot during the tag title tournament match Saturday night against Top Flight which did not appear to have the intended ending due to the fear that Starks was severely hurt.
WWE Monday Night Raw... the go home edition for this weekend's Wrestlemania XL... comes from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY
The Rock & Roman Reigns actually decided to work on a Monday this week... so they'll be on Raw tonight to hype the matches they're involved in this weekend.
Sami Zayn takes on Bronson Reed looking to show he can beat up the big guys ahead of the Intercontinental Championship match against GUNTHER
New Day & #DIY come together to battle Judgment Day in -man tag action
And Ivy Nile teams with Maxxine Dupre to take on Candice Larae and Indi Hartwell
I'm sure a number of this thread will be looking in at the LSU/Iowa WBB Tournament game... good luck Tigers... or dirty debutantes as the LA Times called them before retracting and apologizing (G... don't google that phrase... apparently it's on your late night websites)

Raw sounds boring…. Let’s just get to WM. There is not much else that can happen to add to the card.

Other than Rock and Roman, yes. It seems like the fans don't even care about the match between Gunther and Sami. Gable has been booked for the Andre Battle Royal on Smackdown so I wouldn't expect him to get involved at the last second. I think that's what the fans want though.

AEW made the smart decision to not put Collision head to head with Wrestlemania on Saturday... instead trying to use Wrestlemania as a lead-in for Collision by airing Collision at 10:30 Saturday night

Speaking of AEW, Punk was on the Ariel Helwani podcast today and said some things that seem like they may violate his NDA. Also basically admitted he was trying to get fired. Said he wanted to leave after Brawl Out but Tony wouldn't let him. Came off like the egotistical, hypocrite, narcissist we all know he is.

Last weeks Raw was one of the best I've ever seen and Rock's beat down of that Rhodes boy was epically old school
Wasn't a lot of hype for last weeks raw either so let's see what happens
Also I had almost forgotten how much the IWC hates Punk until todays interview reminded me
Did yall know punk was actually flying a 5th plane on 9/11?

I cannot imagine he was dumb enough to do that Brosef, he had plenty of time to consult with attorneys before the interview
That said I have no dog in the hunt but I do have plenty of popcorn to enjoy the aftermath

quote:I was not excited about going when they released the card last Sunday. By late Monday night I was over the moon. Hopefully there's an angle involved over a second useless Reed-Zayn match.
