I have had one since Oct of last year. Have put 33k miles on it. No issues yet. I'm averaging about 16.5 mpg, but I usually haul arse and tow a bunch of stuff. The 6 cylinder turbo runs like a mutha and pulls fine. It squats a little more than I like when pulling something with any weight.
I do have a recall notice for "Unexpected vehicle movement may occur when the vehicle is in neutral and the brakes are not applied.". Yea, well no shite. I don't plan on having it addressed.

Same I have a ‘23 with 33k, turbos pull hard. Agreed on the squat. I avg 19.5 ish with a ton of highway driving.

I have a 23 with the Hybrid motor, with 22k miles and haven't had a single issue. I love it.
If you go on Tundra Facebook groups you'll see people post about issues they are having but overall it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. I waited on the 23 instead of the 22 in case their were some kinks to work out, but I'm super happy with mine. Definitely like it over my Ford.
I wasn't impressed with the non-hybrid motor but the hybrid is a different animal and will run like a scolded dog and has no turbo lag.

fine. i go back and forth w the lunar color a bit, black, white and maybe silver. The supersonic red looks great but i'm not that bold.

I know a few people with them, none of them have had trouble. I really like the truck and wanted to get one as i had a ‘11 and ‘14. I didn’t mind that they went to a 6 cylinder TT, but i expected a lot more economy out of it.
For the first time in 14 years, i went with a Silverado this go around.

2021 Silverado 1500 duramax…120k miles and the transmission needs to be replaced/rebuilt.

I’ll take my chances, 3.0 Duramax doesn’t have lifter issues. Truck comes with 100k drivetrain warranty from the factory, i will trade it in before then. And it was 5k less than a comparable tundra , and im saving 250 a month in fuel cost.
By all means, the tundra will probably outlast the Silverado even though it’s unproven. But for the length of time i will have the truck, i will come out better with the Silverado .
I’m a Toyota guy, i get it. But not every truck fits the same situation. And just FYI, Toyota is having transmission issues as well. 10 speeds just arent made to hold up, across all platforms. We keep stretching the limits, and expect the longetivity to stay the same. The gap between the quality of modern vehicles is getting much narrower and narrower as time passes on. Toyota and Honda is still the top in my mind, but the gap isn’t as large as it was 15 years ago .

Great looking truck. I go back and forth over the size of them. Are they as roomy as the last gen? The styling at least to me just makes the new ones look smaller.

I've honestly only rode in one of the previous generations a few times and can't speak to the space compared to this but I will say it is definitely roomy. I came from a 2014 F150 4 door and it is roomier than my Ford for sure.
Was happy with the gas mileage and the ride. Was around 21mpg and it rode like a Cadillac. But the lift and tires changed that.

I got a '21 4Runnner TRD Pro, same color. Love it so far. Found one with 8500 miles on it. It'll last as long as long as I need it to and my son is already trying to figure out how it will become his, so if I get the itch for the next gen 4Runner or Land Cruiser I might have an excuse (although review sites tell me the equivalent Lexus offering makes a hell of a lot more sense).
I looked at Tundras, but I just don't need a truck bed. The new hybrid engine was definitely smooth and had way more get-up than the Sierra I checked out. I also got myself irrationally annoyed at how random the grill options on Tundras seem to be these days, and most of them look dumb.
