The backstarap on the SFX is atrocious though

Definitely will be putting Talon Grips on at least that part when I get mine

I believe the TTI Combat doesn't release until later this month but from all the gun-tuber reviews it seems like a great deal and gun

So to call me disappointed is a huge understatement.

I went and shot my TP9SFX yesterday.

Shooting the above rounds. Out of 40 rounds it failed to eject and or failed to feed, no shite, 8-10 times. I shot the gun very very accurately so I'm tickled at that. The FTE and FTF pisses me off beyond words, so much that I simply just put it down and moved on to the .22's.

I would have tried the other mag but I left it at the house. So wtf do I do now? Of course I will try other ammo but 8-10 out of 40 is quite ridiculous. And no, I wasn't limp wristing it

Clean it really good and shoot it some more.

More likely it was the ammo. Definitely break down completely and clean and oil up.

Yeah it was the first time it's been fired. I'll strip it down and clean it like I always do for a new gun. But frick man, that was awful

I bought from Dahlonega a few times. Tough to beat their prices.

I got the TP9SFX a few years ago and it is such a nice gun. Especially for the price I paid for it. As you said, that Canik trigger is absolutely the best "out of the box" triggers out there for a striker fired polymer pistol.

I've been telling anyone who would listen about Canik and their bang for your buck for years now.

Are these guns range guns or EDC guns?

The SFX is definitely a range gun. It's like a bare bones, Uber cheap 3 gun pistol.

But they have compact and subcompact models in the TP9 series, METE, and Rival (I believe, not really all that familiar with it) you can definitely EDC.

I have a TP9SC Elite that I carry all the time.

Shot the tti combat today

Shot really well. At 5 yds quick firing absolutely tight group througj a full 18rd magazine. Blew a nice hole out the target. Was about an inch left consistently. Not sure if how gun set up or was me being used to a different frame.
I lost accuracy around 15yds. Still center mass but not tight.

No hangups. Very quick back to target. Decent site picture. I'd like to try one with an optic.
Slide is silky smoothe compared to the other caniks I messed with. Not as smooth as combat master tti models

The grips are really aggressive. Almost too much tbh. Trigger as well.
All in all, It's a nice shooter and I'd buy one.
