Anybody know of a local firearms dealer in the Baton Rouge area with a good selection of CZ pistols?

Are you wanting to put your hands on it before you buy it or do you already know what you want?

If the latter, buy online from Bud's, Euro Optic or the like and ship to a local FFL.

Yeah I'd really like to see the CZ P 09 before I buy it.

If Jim's has it then I would go there just to handle it and see if you like it. Walk out the door and order it on line and save yourself money.

I have both a P07 and a P01 Omega.

Fantastic shooters and highly recommend either.

Check r/gundeals as they are constantly going on sale.

Same here. Cajun Gun Works turned my P07 & P01 Omega both into perfection. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have the DWX &/or Shadow 2 Compact but I really don't need them with these. I prefer decocker vs safety anyhow.

Family Firearms has it for $389. Definitely worth it at that price. Trigger was a little heavy so had it cajunized as well.

And when he’s out of business where are you going to try guns? You’re a f’n jackass

It won't hurt my feelings at all if they go out of business, nice try though. Highest prices of any place around on guns, and usually the least helpful. Not buying from him and having the gun shipped to a local FFL helps an even smaller guy out.

Thanks for all the responses my dudes. I'm definitely going to send the CZ off to CGW when I do get it.

I just bought a Springfield Echelon locally. I also bought one online. By the time I paid the tax, credit card fee and transfer fee the local purchase was cheaper.

People bitch about Jim’s prices but remember he didn’t get a single tax break building his building. Bass Pro, Cabela’s and Range USA all got tax breaks to pay for their buildings.

And the selection at Jim’s is miles better than cabelas.

I have rarely ever paid taxes on an online gun purchase. Don't pay any credit card fees either. I understand if you're limited on FFL selection though.
