I have a Fierce Fury 28 Nosler that I need to put a scope on. I know the OB has a few favorites like Meopta, of course Swarovski, Leupold, etc. Lens clarity and light transmission are important to me. What is the best bang for my buck? $1,500-2500 range.

Swarovski z6 3-18 or 5-30 if under $2500.

That's one I've been looking at. I can up my budget if needed.

Swarovski Z8i 2-16x50. A little higher than you want to spend but maybe you can nab one on sale

Great rifle btw. Really want a Fierce for myself

The Swarovski x5 reviews are pretty good. I think light transmission might be hair less than the z6 though.

Are you planning to dial for long range shooting? That's a massive factor. If so, get something from nightforce or SWFA or March. If not, whatever tickles your pickle in that price range is going to be an extremely good scope.

Swarovski x5

Z6 or Z8 will be nicer.

I have a leupold vx6-hd 4-24x52 on my 28 nosler. I went with it because of the CDS. I had a vx5-hd 3-15x56 on my last 28 nosler. No complaints

I’m hunting Caribou tomorrow with a 28 Nosler. Using a vortex diamondback 4-12x lol.

There are plenty of good lower tier scopes(Leupold, Vortex), save the extra money and use it to go hunting.

My nicest scope is a Razor, and I range from it down to a 1.5-4 Weaver (probably Chinese) from Natchez. For common magnification ranges, 12x and down for the SouthEast, I see a distinct diminishing return in glass quality after $400-$500 in the scope world. There can be a difference but I have to pick them up side-by-side to see it.
