I am considering a trip to the Lake Bouef area to catch some sacalait. I noticed that there are two bridges crossing the pipeline canal that leads to the lake. What are the clearances of these two structures? I have a bay boat, but I can remove the windshield , and I can pull pins to lower the grab rail. Thanks for the info.

I only know of one. Coming from Lake Des Allemands go under the bridge on the left side. I have a bass boat but don't remember it ever being a tight squeeze.

You can launch at Trudy's and bypass it though.

Where is Trudy's? Is this the same as Larousse's?

Thought you were talking about a home run from 2000 or 2001.

You can launch in Kramer also if you can’t fit under the bridges from La 1

If you coming from the boat launch off 308 a bay boat won’t fit clearance is maybe 4’. If water a little high I have had to lay down to go under and a gator tail barely cleared. Also was in a mud boat we had to pull plug and partially sink to get under

Yea bay boat not fitting under those bridges. You can launch in Kraemer by trudys. And yes sacalait run is pretty much done. It's lake runner and perch time.

Narrowest opening is 93" wide, I had a 17' Alweld with a center console and I couldnt fit under the bridge. Launch behind Trudys in Kraemer amd take Bayou Bouef to get there.

Your boat fit but your head couldn't.
