Flounder Gigging

Did it when I was 12.

Gigged 3 or 4 lost 1. I gigged a hardhead catfish and stepped on it trying to get it off. Spine went through my tennis shoe into my foot. Gigging flounder sucks!

I hear about the "jubilees" all the time from my FIL and wife. They used to have a second home on the bay...

I have some family that live on the bay, they talk about this a bunch. They go floundering a good bit in general, have a boat rigged up for it and everything.

Interesting.. Kinda defeats the fun of flounder gigging IMO. I love the peace and quiet and wading in the water.
