Moccasins and if found around my house probably would have meat the same demise as those only for mine and my families safety. I have kept tons of different snakes through my life...but the venomous ones have no business around my house. I could catch and relocate...but fooling with them has the potential of a mishap and I dont want any kinds of mishaps when dealing with something like that.

With that said if you didnt kill the king snakes...they might have ate the poisonous ones

I know it was moccasins. Only snakes I don't kill are king snakes. Sorry, it's just the draw back of being a snake

I knew you knew hence the head patting And I agree I am a snake person...but when it comes to the venomous its a 50/50 chance for them. I live in a neighborhood setting...not a wilderness large wooded area. If I was out hunting id leave it be...if its in my back yard...its dead.

The usually dry creek bed I have my lock on set up over looking is full of water from all the rain we've had lately and I had a mocassin swimming around the base of my tree and up and down the creek while I was hunting Saturday. Made the walk out after dark a little sketchy. I wasn't going to zing an arrow at him from 20ft up.
