So many of the leftist media networks like to throw the terms “alt-right” around when discussing conservative politicians. I’ve always heard of it, but never exactly knew what the alt-right is. What makes it different from the mainstream conservative crowd?

So the alt-right emphasizes race yet the mainstream right doesn’t emphasize it?

That's a difference. Alt-right types actually share a bit in common with progressives too (Universal Healthcare, for example, but they think it will work in a nation composed only of whites).

Alt-right are the people who will stand up to the progressive left movement. Maga right seems to work within the framework of government.

Alt-right says the system is screwed and can't be fixed, thus we should attack the system and reform it by whatever means they can do so.

Considering that the term "Alt-Right" is derogatory. Most "Trump Republicans" don't want to be associated with it. The fact is that Trump started a schism in the Republican Party. We are against Uniparty Neocons. We don't trust mainstream news. We are America First. We believe in protecting only women spaces like Female Sports and Restrooms. Honestly, a huge chunk of us who have found ourself pushed to the Right would probably lable ourselves"Libertarian/Classical Liberal".

So they basically adhere to a National Socialist ideology. Extremely far right on social politics while being extremely far left on economic politics.
