My left leaning buddy tells me Putin was going to invade regardless and it's because he needs money.
Yes, Putin was always going to invade, but it isn't about money. It's about geography. If Russia can secure the Polish Gap, they only have to guard about 200 miles of wide open plains. If they can't, then they have about 1,500 miles to guard. They had to do it now because they were running out of 20 year olds due to their low birth rate and won't have the manpower to do it in 20 years.

You're 8 years too late if you think anyone in the illegitimate Biden regime set the stage for the Russian invasion.
You have to go back to Hussein's 2nd term, specifically Victoria Nuland. Oliver Stone's Ukraine on Fire lays it all out.

I don’t buy it. Would they have invaded had Trump stayed in office?
My take is this: when I see the bumbling fool of a President we ended up with and the standing he thrust our country into with seemingly intentional vigor, and the accompanying erosion of respect and deterrence power that came along with his immediate fecklessness, I see literal once in a lifetime opportunity for these international bad actors to take a shot that ain’t coming around again for a long, long time - if ever. That alone was enough to precipitate the madness.

Yeah, joey's weakness has started many conflicts and will continue to do so.

Yes this war started because of us and trying to get Ukraine nato membership
The United States is directly responsible for this war. Before the 2014 US led coup, Russia and Ukraine were at peace and had good relations. Their militaries had an especially close relationship.. We changed all that because Barack Obama wanted to further push gay shite into Eastern Europe, and he used NATO as his hammer for that nail.

Had you paid attention to the impeachment sham, this "war" wouldn't surprise you at all. Every dollar going there is going to Zelenski, his minions, then back to the Uniparty in DC.
