2. The Assistant US Attorneys are not political appointees - are deemed career professionals and are rarely replaced following changes due to political elections.
And we should all remember the silly firestorm that took place after G. W. Bush fired and began to replace a bunch of the US Attorneys when he took office. Lots of political hay over a routine process.

Yeah it would be a dumb move to appoint someone whose only qualification is being a Trump supporter. All Kash has been is an advisor and chief of staff. Aka glorified assistant.

Few cabinet positions have any real experience for the job. Most are political appointees. Kash would be as qualified as any other cabinet member.
