So the House Republicans UNANIMOUSLY voted in favor of HCR3 to only have it fail to make it out of committe by the Senate. The same fricking Senate that could have stopped Edward's Covid powers but refused to do so.

ALL LOUISIANA REPUBLICAN SENATORS MUST BE PRIMARIED.

Fred Mills is the fricking chair of that committee and did not vote. It's amazing how only the WORST OF SOCIETY manage to hold political seats.

A public awareness campaign needs to take place educating parents on the opt out which is all smoke and mirrors.
Still just can’t believe they are screwing with the kids

LA AG Landry does have a lawsuit. I would guess 4/5 parents don’t even know about this yet. This needs to get out when it’s fully known it will explode

Yes. They are trying to mislead people with the opt out.

It’s shameful. Mills needs to pay for this.

A couple weeks ago I e-mailed Pope and urged him to vote in favor of HCR3. I read this thread and immediately e-mailed him again informing him that as a Veteran and as one of his constituents, I will not be voting for him in 2024 or in any race ever again. I informed him that many other of his constituents feel the same. What a disgrace. Talk about someone who doesn't understand who he represents or more likely, doesn't care.

Was this simply a committee vote? Is it a done deal or does the entire senate have to vote on this?

Done deal. Vaccine mandatory.
Your child can opt out for medical or religious reasons.

Landry will fight it in court.

Our state is run by a bunch of dumb asses

I was sent this earlier from someone who is high up in one of the larger private companies in LA...in reference to Mills

quote:

Let's just say I have no faith that he's going to make the right decision here. He is also pushing for physician assistants and nurse practitioners to be independent practitioners without any physician oversight whatsoever. I wrote him a nasty letter this week to go against house bill 158 which basically designates the erosion of healthcare into a bunch of yoo-hoos hands. It's interesting that he has a hand in all of the marijuana legalization issues also. I wonder who they borrow their money from to build all of those marijuana facilities? I had heard that his bank does not have the FDIC insurance or federal ties and the only banks that could lend money for those projects were non-federally invested banks ie no FDIC backing. Coincidence? I don't have confirmation of that, but I have always wondered if that is true or not. Feel free to research it…

So is there a vaccine mandate in place that this was trying to repeal?
