Just heard the Round Rock, TX school board fiasco on Glenn Beck. This can't be America.

It happened back in September, but Beck is covering it now. I never imagined this would ever happen in the USA.

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — Two men are facing charges after a Round Rock Independent School District board meeting was cut short earlier this week when tensions between some board members and attendees escalated.

Dustin Clark and Jeremy Story have both been charged with hindering proceedings by disorderly conduct, according to court records.

The two men say they were arrested in the late evening Friday, held in the Williamson County Jail overnight and released around 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
quote:

KXAN has asked both Round Rock ISD and the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office why a warrant was issued for the two men instead of a citation. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office referred us to the RRISD Police Department even though court documents show the sheriff’s office was the arresting agency. A spokesperson for Round Rock ISD did not answer that question but did confirm the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office was the arresting agency.

Round Rock is near Austin; the closer you get to Austin, the further away you get from Texas.

Maybe we are arresting the wrong people... If we started arresting school board members and politicians, things would probably change for the better.

Yes but it’s not Austin. Austin needs to be contained except leftism is spreading like wildfire in Houston, Dallas, SA etc… how long before the state goes purple.

I'd replace normal Texas with Establishment RINO Texas. Our GOP politicians are garbage.

Round Rock/Williamson County used to be much more conservative than neighboring Austin. That’s actually what started the massive growth in that area - people leaving Austin to get away from the liberal policies. That has changed over the years as Round Rock and Williamson County have experienced massive growth, often from people who want to live in Austin but can’t afford the inflated prices.

Yep, and now that movement is to Liberty Hill and Dripping Springs.

There's no functional difference between the Mexicans who live in South Texas and the white people in other parts of rural Texas. They all vote red for generally the same reasons. This is just being racist for the sake of being racist tbh.

Can't wait to have some retard who has never stepped foot in a south Texas rural town try and tell me anything about the politics there.

The local police and sherrifs better decide which side they’re going to play for before getting their nuts in the ringer.

Sounds like the city police took the warrant and the two turned themselves in at the SO, hence the SO is the “arresting agency.”

It’s mostly about keeping a paycheck and a pension. The other part is ego.

They hate when folks don’t follow orders and disrespect them the same way a gang in the hood talks about disrespect but they’ll put all that to the side if they’re ordered to stand down. Order followers.

It’s like they think they’re still in Iraq or Afghanistan and anyone outside the wire, anyone not in the same uniform, is the enemy.
