The FBI is reportedly probing a Christian faith group that counts Catholic Supreme Court justice Amy Coney Barrett as a member, months after Republicans accused the agency of targeting Catholics.

One former member told Newsweek in 2020 that women are expected to be "absolutely obedient" to their husbands an
d the men in the group and those who aren't are "shamed, shunned, humiliated."

The agency has interviewed several people who claim they were abused by members of the group, People of Praise, sources told the Guardian. Barrett, who was elevated to the Supreme Court by former president Donald Trump, has been a member of the South Bend, Indiana-based group for decades.

The individuals were contacted following a years-long effort by a group called PoP Survivors, who have called for the South Bend-based sect to be investigated for leaders’ handling of sexual abuse allegations. The body, which has 54 members, has alleged that abuse claims were routinely mishandled or covered up for decades in order to protect the close-knit faith group.

Surely after this the FBI will investigate what Muslim men subject their wives to in the U.S. right?

It’s not about that, it’s about finding a way to get rid of conservative minded SCJ , they were all over Thomas now Barrett, they are trying to remove them.

Par for the course.

Dems seek the utter destruction of their opponents.

GOPe seeks to "work with" theirs.

Can't. Gotta worry about that backlash.

Poor writing. More succinct wording will make your writing more clear for your reader. Here the word cult would’ve been much better.

The progressives hate Christianity and Christian values. I chose not to say Dems because the old old school Dem mindset has long been swallowed up by the left and at a time, there wasn’t such a vast difference between the two parties outside of how to achieve common goals. But now it’s a cesspool on both sides, particularly the left.
If you’re not a follower of Christ I urge you to strongly consider it or at least study the Bible a bit…
Really helps to explain everything we’re currently living in and why instances such as this are ramping up in the nation and around the world.

The FBI now acts as the democrat party’s gestapo. They need to be abolished as an agency.

And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.” Tax collectors also came to be baptized and said to him, “Teacher, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Collect no more than you are authorized to do.” Soldiers also asked him, “And we, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Do not extort money from anyone by threats or by false accusation, and be content with your wages.”

Traditional norms and values must be put down at all costs.

Taking passages from the bible out of context doesn’t give you a one up. What about Romans 1:24 -26 regarding same sex relationships? or Mark 14:7 when Jesus said the poor will always be with you.
Matthew 18:6…there are many more examples.

Bitch please. It's obvious to anyone with half a brain that Paul isn’t condemning being gay as opposed to being straight. He is condemning self-seeking excess as opposed to moderation—a concern made clear by his repeated use of the term “lustful,” and by his description of people “exchanging” or “abandoning” heterosexual sex.

You are wrong.
“Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.”
That’s very straightforward and simple.

Yeah, "progressives" and their agenda of trying to help people is really anti-Bible.

Meanwhile conservatives are actively trying to shut down the government and hurt people to boost their own fragile egos. I'll let my bro John take it from here:

“But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?”

This is like looking in the mirror for the FBI.

Don’t confuse a politician with a conservative bud. You think I trust everything that slaps an “R” on its name? Hell no. There is no authority greater than God in my Book. Now whatever book you’re reading? Maybe so. Because it sounds like a cupcake Bible.
And again I will stand by what I said; progressives generally dislike the teachings of the Bible because it conflicts with their world views. And I haven’t seen much on the “helping side “ for years from progressives. Hurting is more their speed these days.
2 Corinthians 11:14
Are conservatives immune to that criticism? No. But a true conservative in America usually follows a biblical perspective.
Nobody is perfect: not me, not you, not any of our representatives.
