That's what you HOPE. You'd be wrong, but it's what you hope. With unfettered democrat control of the House, the Senate and the WH, there is simply nothing the dems can't... and wouldn't.... do. Period. At least now... like it or not... there is a bit of backstop, if you will, in place to prevent them running simply roughshop over us. And it will be much worse than sending Ukraine money.
I'm 65, what I have witnessed over the past 30-40 years is the steady implementation of the Dim/DC Uniparty Globalist agenda. I could listen to an argument that Jeffries would reduce the time needed to complete the Fundamental Transformation of America (which is very close) and I would likely concede that to be true but if you think Johnson is going to throw down the gauntlet to close the border or do anything else to stop the steady implementation of the Dim/DC Uniparty Globalist agenda, well, you're much more optimistic than me.

MIC is running the show. The IC is just an arm of the MIC.
This situation has clearly been going and growing since the end of WW2.
Don;t know where this is headed, but clearly with the Nat'l debt alone, things are going to have to change.
Perhaps its totaltalitarion from right or left.
Maybe nuclear annihilation.
Maybe JFK/Covid/UFO secrecy gets revealed.
But for certain, it is coming to an end.
But as dark as things are for those of us who love freedom, it doesn't look good for Davos.
That at least makes me happy

Those holding Congressional Office care first and foremost about keeping their status as elected officials so they can live off of our tax dollars. Johnson and Jeffries are on the same side because they need to present a fiction that they are on opposite sides to pit their respective constituents against each other instead of against them.
Remember that picture of Bush 41, Clinton, Obama, and GWB all in the same room laughing with the caption reading "They think we are on opposite sides"? It needs an update.

Has anyone confirmed that MTG was boinging Kev?

Thomas Massie now joins with MTG in calling for the removal of Speaker Mike Johnson.
Let there be absolutely no doubt, removing Johnson right now is giving the speaker gavel to Democrats. This Machiavellian way to remove Donald Trump has always appeared to be the Deep State insurance policy.
When the U.S. Supreme Court reinstituted Donald Trump on the federal election ballots of the five leftist states who removed him, the high court noted that disqualifying a person from presidential office could only be done by congress, not by the individual states.
If the Democrats take control of the House, disqualifying Donald Trump from federal office will be the purpose of their first legislative act. They already hold the Senate. They will do this. Thomas Massie knows this.
So, ask yourself, who exactly is controlling the action of Thomas Massie; remember, he’s the former endorser of Ron DeSantis on behalf of the Sea Island multinationals (banks). Does the question answer itself?
Accept things as they are, not as you would prefer them to be.
When we *think* we have found the bottom of the corrupt and conniving state within the DC system… Pause, have a nice cup of coffee, then remind ourselves we’ll never find the bottom of this level of corruption; it’s ‘effen bottomless.

That’s sure seems like what some Rs in Congress are aiming for.
