Certain studies came out providing evidence that certain life processes, specifically photosynthesis, seem to exhibit properties that defy entropy. In academic honesty, it is very likely that Carnot's heat engine equations from the 1800's are inadequate for all explanations of entropy dealing with life in particular, and on the other hand, Maxwell's demon could of been replaced by God and you have a control in place to defy entropy too...

just putting a few thoughts down here in words.

Maybe you should read up on it.

The second law of thermodynamics applies to closed systems. The earth is not a closed system because we receive heat energy from the sun.

Here’s a good explanation that also uses mathematical proofs:

Exactly *what* the Sun is or isn't can't actually be identified or confirmed by scientists; nevermind by using "mathematical proofs" (btw, linky no worky.)

And yes, the Earth IS absolutely a "closed system", enclosed within a Firmament. (I'll take the word of God in Genesis and real "Science" over the Pathological Liar that is Man, thank you.)

Obviously there is a lot that is completely wrong here, but you don’t think the sun puts out heat?!

Goddamn, I love your crazy arse.

Look at what some of you are agreeing with.

This fricking loon.

FYI, "firmament" is a bit of a mistranslation of the Hebrew word raki'a. Raki'a translates more accurately to "sky" or "expanse".

The Theory of Evolution is...

That Evolution is a change in allele frequencies over time, and that all living things evolved. That's it.

Living things evolve. It isn't even a question.

Do you really think "that's it"? It took me 5 seconds earlier in this thread to find a definition that was a little bit more encompassing than that.

I have zero issues with that definition; I don't personally know anybody who does.

That is it, yes. Evolution at its simplest form.

Yes, all signs point to there being a single common ancestor to all life on Earth, and so much evidence supports it, it would be hard to contradict.

Having "two" organisms that everything evolved from wouldn't be the end of it or anything, just another thing to consider (although it is incredibly unlikely given genetics).

But if we were to discover that would be the case, the science would change. Which is the strength of science. Somehow believers psychotically try to turn that into a weakness.

But then you immediately expanded your claims. Which is it?
