There is a video floating around where Tucker went grocery shopping in Russia. His total bill was $104. In America, that exact same bill would have been $400+

For some reason I can’t link the video because it was an IG short video.

I think Tucker is blown away with how people live in Russia compared to the United States

But but but Russia is evil!!

Perhaps Russia knows how to take care of Russia First where everybody seems to be living comfortably in very clean cities with virtually zero crime, but but but that is considered evil to American politicians! Evil!!

Yeah, Russia doesn't have $34+ trillion of national debt.

Now do salaries to even get close to a meaningful comparison.

I was shocked at how many high rise buildings have been built in Moscow and other large Russian cities the past 20-30 years, not as spectacular as Dubai but still pretty impressive.

Juanita Broaddrick retweeted it. @atensnut

All those sanctions really appear to be devastating Russia.

If Russia is so great why don’t you move there? I don’t see anyone literally dying to get into Russia like the US

Its nicer than i think most Americans realize but lets not get too carried away. Its true they have been doing a great job of holding their economy fairly stable despite the sanctions. Id also bet many foreigners would be surprised at how run down our infrastructure and cities have become and how dirty they are compared to a lot of nice foreign ones. For a country that is suppose to be the best, we certainly dont demand such benefits for ourselves.

It’s hard to maintain you infrastructure when you send most of your money to foreign countries.

You have to put in income and overall cost of living for a proper comparison; but, Russia is doing just fine. I watched a lot of videos when the war started - companies leaving, some issues with restaurants closing, stores not getting merchandise. That all lasted for a very short time. Very quickly the shelves seemed to be well stocked, prices quickly rose then quickly came back down, they have plenty of choices and so forth.

Have watched several of these videos - some of the companies haven't come back. Virtually all of them have been replaced, like McDonalds.

A guy on RT, who is American, said at the outset that Putin had been working in the background for years to put things in place to allow Russia's economy to deal with things like sanctions, after seeing how the US weaponized money and markets. Apparently that worked. I thought maybe he was sunshine pumping at first, but he was correct.

Our politicians hate us.

Prices are high because of control. Most products ppl buy come from the same companies. It’s an illusion of more choice but different price points. This thru monopoly and “regulation”. Politicians ensure the big brands are taken care of and bought off. All while they “invest” in the market.

It’s almost as though the narrative that this country is so horrible has created generations of Americans who trash and destroy our country because they don’t respect and appreciate it.

Really tired of the “patriots” propping up Russia as better than the US. It’s such a joke

You’ve missed the point entirely. It’s not propping up Russia, it’s disgust about what our leaders have done here to our country for years because they can’t put America first.

Freedom comes with a high price. Everything good will always have bad and power struggles.

I don’t think most people are saying it’s better only that Americans are not getting an accurate picture of life in Russia for obvious reasons.

There is stunning ignorance on the subject because there is no objective reporting on Russia in this country.
