What do all of these have in common? No one is saying, "the exact same covid lockdown scenario will happen again, the exact same way, no changes, nothing different". Why even argue such a stupid idea? DO you understand how childish and idiotic one has to be, to be so 1 tracked?
Back to the above, and the actual fricking point, is POWER. And the absurd lengths this government, and world governments has recently proven to go to, for more of it, and the increasingly brazen manner in which they are doing it. But you don't want to be bothered to think just a little bit more. Because that might make you uncomfortable. Why? Why be afraid to use your brain more than the minimum?

It sure as frick wasn't Florida and their perfect COVID hero, DeSantis that refused to lockdown. It was South Dakota that refused to lockdown. The lone state. And that state's governor may wind up being Trump's VP. You'd figure if Trump was putting so much pressure on her to lock her state down and she didn't that their relationship would be strained. Doesn't seem to be.

Depends on what's considered a lockdown. Noem had lockdowns in South Dakota the same way DeSantis did in Florida. She didn't order them, but under her executive orders local authorities had the latitude to order them. And there were a few state-level activities she ordered shutdown.
