As of this season I’ve been way more involved in LaLiga given all matches are on ESPN+. Really accessible and always have at least two matches on at a time if the schedule allows it, along with EPL Goal Rush or marquee game.

I’ve found myself becoming fond of Rayo. But overall just generally loving watching a different league regularly.

Same with Bundesliga really but I usually really one of those matches to my desktop PC.

Ahh. And how long have you been a follower of Marx, comrade?

I’ve noticed that this board is very much a premier league board with little or no interest in MLS, La Liga, Bundesliga, etc…

Not sure why, but it seems that way.

Didn’t even know that until I read up more. Not that I care or that would steer me away. Not even saying I’m a fan, just have gravitated toward them a bit.

I think it’s just because they’re a smaller club in a massive city shadowed by a team that themselves are shadowed. Neat kits and hey Falcao’s there!

In the past I would’ve said Valencia was the team I tried to pay attention to… but now LaLiga is even easier to watch than the PL with all matches in one place, to the point where I’m seeing more LL matches than EPL on any given weekend.

I tried to start a Real Madrid thread a couple times. Usually just respond to myself.

I do fire up ESPN to watch a random LaLiga or Bundesliga match when I work from home

Seems like they always have a match on

Tried to watch MLS when the free matches are on Apple TV but the quality just isn’t good

There is interest in La Liga and Bundesliga on here

But it’s pretty focused on the big 2 clubs in each league with the people who talk about it

A lot more media coverage in English makes it easier for me to follow EPL. Big fan of bundesliga.

I am a part owner of Eibar in the segunda.

Bought one share when they were first promoted to La Liga in 2013/14.

They got relegated a few years back and shite the bed last two seasons in the playoff for promotion back.

Keep up w/ Athletic Club as well. I work for a Basque company and everyone loves the club. Their all Basque player philosophy is interesting and they rather not win as much to keep it the way it is.

Been to a few games at San Mamés.

I follow La Liga and Serie A but I'm swamped with job, school and a child at the moment so I haven't kept up much this season.

Cool to know.

I went on a work trip to Vitoria-Gasteiz in ‘20 just before COVID shut the world down and got to see Alaves-Eibar the last night before I flew home. Awesome atmosphere in a 20,000 seat ground. I think that’s the year Eibar got relegated.

Girona smoked Barcelona today 4-2.

That put Girona at the top of the league.

I would laugh.

Barcelona has been complete arse since they lost Gavi. I fully expect them to finish behind Real, Atléti and Girona. Real is on good form but I could really see any of those three winning it.

Compared to what?

It’s an extremely technical league

David Alaba confirmed torn ACL today.

Real Madrid needs to invest in some ACLs stat. That's 3 this year.

I’ve a good mate back in Wisconsin who used to be an ultra in Frente Atlético of Atletico Madrid. We met through political rallies and such. Good lad but was very short tempered and heavy into coke.

Die hard Real Madrid Fan here. What Girona has been doing this year is really impressive. Same with Leverkusen in Bundesliga.
