I never understood him. For someone who hates Pool, he sure spends a lot of time talking about them on this thread.

I've already soiled myself with that. Once seems enough for this season.

Includes Sterling, Pedro Chirivella, Kent, Wilson, and Ojo. Some exciting young names in there

Excludes Balo, Borini, Enrique, and Sinclair (maybe going to get loaned out soon?)

Sterling not going on tour now. "In advanced talks" with City. Hope we make them pay the full £50m and not the rumored £45m bid they put in a couple days ago

Once that deal goes through, I wouldn't be surprised to hear more on Benteke

yeah, at the end of the day.. 45-50... is great business! Id like to get the full valuation, just because... but at the end of the day, he needs to go and we can use the £.

Now, how we spend it... different story...

Funny to think that our 2 "golden boys" from the academy, of just a couple of years ago, are no longer with us...

I would say Stevie was the guy most directly responsible for their goal. Didn't follow the runner with the cb committed.

He looked a little tired and I'm sure fitness levels will need to be raised. He had a few great passes, a good shot. Also some bad passes.

It was weird to see him in other colors.

Glen has joined stoke.

The good news is that they will only beat us 3-1 to start the year since he will ruin their offense.

Wonder what this means for Cameron??

Sad to see him go, but glad that we stayed firm and got what we wanted to for him. Interested to see who we go after now. Do you guys think we pick up another attacking mid/ winger as a direct replacement along with a striker?

And I thought 35 mil for Andy Carroll was mental...

Yeah I hate lose a young guy wth talent - but at that price everyone is negotiable.

Hope we spend it wisely.

I also think it helps that we have depth at the positions he is most optimal for. Guys like markovic, lallana, Ibe, firminio can all play the same role. Whether they can play it as well this year or as well as sterling could have in future years is another matter.
