I'm thinking about it.

Need to dump this pixel 6 pro. They have issues dropping signal, so I'm hesitant to even get another pixel.

I've been rolling with a 4a for three years now and it's been the best phone I've ever owned. I should have upgraded at launch when I was still able to get a decent trade in value for it. I don't know if I'll get any value with the next launch.

The Google Pixel 8 Pro is $599 unlocked with Google Fi. You have to keep the service for 120 days or you have to pay back the $400 discount.

Samsung Flip and the Samsung Galaxy S23+ are the same price.

I have it and love it. As someone with 3 young kids, the "best take" photo editor is amazing.

I bought it back in October, but really just do not want to relinquish my 3 year old 5...that rear fingerprint, bro.

Looking at updating the galaxy S10+, and considering Pixel 8 pro vs S23/S24 (same damn price basically). I have read some comparison posts, but they love to hedge both ways. Any reason to stick with Samsung? It is appealing to stay under $1000.

I don't know how you use your phone. I use mine to take pictures of things for estimates and such. The cameras in pretty much all new phones is good enough to get back and see details.

I just switched from the pixel 6 pro to the s24+, I wish I could go back the pixel. The Samsung apps are redundant to the Google apps and it's annoying to have the phone continually ask me if I want to use their apps. The camera on the Samsung is pretty awesome for how I use it. I don't know about editing though.

Keeping up with work (Outlook, Teams including calls), pics of family and other things. Nothing extravagant. S10 is getting old though. Pixel 8 pro being android 14 to start and 7 years of updates sounds nice if I can make it last that long. Processor seems to be inferior, but to the point I'll notice - no idea and reviews seem to have not been able to test that yet.

Pixel 8 Pro has subpar battery life. Subpar modem for reception. Great camera.

Long term software support but feels bare bones compared to OneUi these days.
