Today, while camping and riding UTVs on a guys trip, we had a family emergency pop up and of course I have no cell service. Is there any portable cell boosters that I could use not only while at camp but also on my UTV?

If it is an area that has no service whatsoever then a typical cell booster will give you nothing.

Best bet is some sort of sat service at your camp

No signal for phone means no signal for a booster.

Varies from no service to 2 bars.

There's not going to be a truly portable solution, but the easiest I have found to use is this WeBoost model. Gonna look kinda janky with the excess cable rolled up and the 120v to 12v cigarette adapter, but the antenna is a standard SMB so you can have antennas on the camp and the UTV. We have used this model with success in areas with 1 bar of reception where no calls could be made or received

I have AT&T and live in a large suburb in Dallas. AT&T headquarters is here and it makes no sense but for a 3 mile bubble around my house it’s nothing but one bar

I literally can’t be on phone calls in my neighborhood

Walking the dog, Everything drops. Can’t even stream YouTube or Spotify

There has to be a better solution to get a better signal. I get a great discount so Id rather not switch
