Booked a ten day stay in Saint Martin for an anniversary trip with the wife. Open to all recommendations, a few things we have booked are a chef for 3 nights, a trip to pinel island and a fishing trip for a day.

We will be renting a car so traveling around the island won't be bad.

Day trip to St Barth or Anguilla. If you take the ferry to St. Barth take dramamine ahead of time and do not sit inside on the ferry. It's a rough ride that's about an hour long and many people get sick.

Anguilla is just a 15 minute ride in a tender.

We like Saint Martin (French) side of island. You could schedule boat/snorkel trip on Scoobidoo or many others. Orient Beach has some good restaurants, make reservation at L’Atelier. Pinel island is a fun day trip. Pick your lobster out of the trap and they grill for you.

Friars Bay is nice for a day trip. We stumbled onto restaurant that only took cash - Icl t’es ailleur , food was astonishing. Hidden gem!

We took ferry to Saint Barts for a day and rented car. Glad we did it but wouldn’t do again. Saint Barts is very expensive.

One of the few Caribbean Islands where you don't actually need this at all.

Saint Martin might be the best dining destination in the Caribbean. A lot of really good restaurants.

It's the French Riviera in the Caribbean.

Heading to the French side next week for a quick trip.

No big plans. Our friends booked the Secrets resort so that's where we will be as well. I don't plan to hang at resort much other than some meals/drinks. I rented a 40ft cat one day to get off island a bit.

Any other recs than Orient beach? Looks close to us, and perfect.

I wouldn't have done an all inclusive in St Martin

They really have a world class dining scene, especially for the Caribbean.

I would eat at least one dinner in a high end place off resort

Open to ideas preferrably on the french side.

We didnt pay much for rooms (300ish a night) but the flights were high as hell. Point is, I can drink my all inclusiveness at the resort and go to dinner elsewhere

Need 1 anniversary dinner spot for sure. Would love to go somewhere festive to drink/listen to music/etc one night as well.

Do a full day in St. Barth's and hit a beach club like Nikki Beach and splurge. You can take the ferry or a flight. I did the ferry last week and it was not bad at all.

You can also do a day trip to Anguilla. It's only a 15 minute or so ferry ride and it's calm waters all the way. Hit Sandy Ground and have lunch and drinks at Elvis' Beach Bar.

We have a catamaran for most of the day Saturday. I believe we can make it to Anguilla if we want!
