THey don't even have to code it to be left, if estimates are to be believed, about 40% of "AI knowledge," representing the sources of the LLMS - is Reddit.

Take that for what it is.

I don't think the percentage is that high, but as a top 5 website in visits annually for over a decade, a good chunk of it is.

that was fricking terrible

Eh? They bring in some major third party hitters, announce OOT and Xenoblade, KH4, a new Final Fantasy.

Probably one of the best directs they've had.

Solid parity withy other consoles, some recent third party big hitters, and 3 solid new games?

A new Mario game for fricks sake it’s been a decade

Yeah, time is right for it.

But holy smokes, I did not realize it was 2017 release. #mindblown
OOT Remaster
Xenoblade something
F-Zero

I have seen light rumors of Mario in development, that would be nuts. I mean, we have to be getting near a new Smash too.

This feels like one that will have a big Splatoon Raiders explanation, then have "one final trailer," my bet is OOT.

He’s speaking about the events in the movie not real life. Jeez, Orson Welles much? The movie deals with the idea of Christians second guessing.

Watching the video this is true, but you can't blame Christians, who's faith is attacked daily even on here, to take a defensive position from the outset. And look, regardless of that - if aliens did exist - SOME Christians would definitely question their beliefs. It's a fine conversation, to jump into.

However, intent of director/author and what they are trying to communicate with a move like this is super delicate. If Spielberg makes a film where he supports questioning, points the questioning towards a particular outcome, and uses the language of the film to suggest SOMETHING about their faith in this event, etc. then the OP point does stand.

If he takes the honest, real world, non-partisan approach and let's people question without really forcing a lean in a particular way, maybe he can encourage the right kind of conversation.

It just doesn't seem modern Hollywood takes the non-partisan approach anymore. I think that's what you see a reaction to in this thread. It doesn't feel like Hollywood wants to look at Christians realistically or holistically. Old Hollywood, and even his films, would make positive references to Chistianity, and motions to God, capital 'G.'

I'm pro gay marriage, but this is.....disgusting.

This is another example of the left going overboard and daring you to reply.

So you support this stuff and the advertising?

You can't usher this in, and escape the responsibility. This kind of stuff is at the feet of all democrats, all progressives.
Ladies and gentlemen, Democrats.

They hope that a 12 year old comes across that so you have to explain it to them.
First listen... Very solid. I don't know if this is as good as Made by these Moments, but it is a different feel. I like it a lot.

When someone is so solidly and unflinchingly off the reservation in this way, with how things are going and what it looks like, this is a rational conclusion.

Blackmailed. Held at gunpoint. Whatever it is. No one can have Starmer's opinions and actions without some sort of external pressure.
1. I do think the hosting model doesn't work well, it doesn't feel completely like a "US" event"
2. The men's team has been underwhelming
3. Marketing has been downright terrible. I see no marketing anywhere and I am in Washington so we have some games in Seattle.
4. Yeah I do think the anti-US sentiment is palpable right now, which sucks.

And Pricing. This 100%.. They were incredibly greedy. Pull those game ticket prices below $800 dollars.

I am booking an AirBnB in Ft. Worth for a completely different event, but same Weekend as Round of 32 in Ft. Worth, not Dallas, but it looks like people jacked up prices for the games that weekend. It's all insane.

at immediately bitching about "modern" stories when your ignorant easily rage baited arse didn't realize Stargate had already been doing "modern" stories.

If you characterize the the modern remake trend and the reaction to it as simply including some homosexuality, or women in leadership/key roles (that discussion being largely absent from this conversation curiously), or having a little bit of alternative lifestyles involved, or having a non-white characters....

You are missing the point.

Yes Stargate had a lot of this - and was not woke.

what it sounds like is it wasn't going to have the modern remake version of this stuff for "new audiences" and "subverting your expectations," and so it was cut. pretty easy to decipher what that means.

What's the alternative?

Temperance.
I am sometimes shocked at how people don't understand 1) money and 2) the perpetuation of things and how these two forces, unchecked will drive really bad outcomes.

It's not shocking that spending a dollar to create 3 dollars in demand is good business. No matter the business. And to do this with any outcome, any need.... That's just.... Rational.

It sucks, but that's what happens when the dollar rules all.

If you like Poe, it's pretty fun. Worth a watch.

The progressive stuff is not that big of a deal.

SO you don't find it weird that companies and people can't wait to share to EVERYONE, including children, that they have different sexual preferences?

That it should be celebrated by everyone for a month.

That sexual preference is enough to shove it, pun intended, down every marketing vehicle imaginable.

Sexual Preference. That for some reason it should be celebrated. It's the only difference between a heterosexual and homosexual. There is nothing else. Why does that deserve a party. Please explain the rationale.
Good thing I will continue to not fly Southwest.

What's the actual reasoning here?

One of you more adventurous folks should identify as obese and get that free seat. Let the games begin.
Millenials are less self-centered than the "I need me time" or "I should get what I deserve" or "Future generations just need to work harder" Boomers? Not really a surprise.

I kid, I kid.

But not really.
How much in Estimated saved Welfare/Medicaid/Medicare payments? That would be my response to them.
