Miss st pitched fine all year, the georgia bats made it look like they couldnt pitch
Pretty sure he accidentally let milams name slip as a guy whose last time was on that field on the night the sec champ game ended

I know that last play didn’t look great for him, but I’ve been a fan of Takeuchi for a couple years.

Good player, but man, your teams season on the line and you get timid going toward the wall, not a great moment.
Forbes is a good coach, they seems to be getting better position players every year to supplement their pitching
Woah, kurland? Thats an odd one. He still has eligibility?
From what i can see, Park threw an inning in 2025 for texas st and pitched in a game this year where he didnt record an out. Played every game at shortstop this year

Potential star pickup
Its an odd decision from the outside considering their pitching carried them much of this year. But maybe they just didnt get along. Elander really needs to nail that hire to keep his own job IMO. Also, they’re overall talent level on the position player-side just seemed lesser
I think everyone would love that, except asking him to do that in his money year without a chance at starting (perceived more value at the next level) probably wouldnt go well.
No, i think the rest of the board has moved on from that era, its kind of weird that you cant help but bring it up at every turn
Good point cub, never actually looked at runs scored, but pretty basic stat that does tell alot
I think it will help some, schmidt naturally needs to make one more decent leap, i expect him to.
Evans im unsure if itll happen, but thats why i want another option. Moore i think will be fine.

Yes please
Agreed. The hitting doesnt concern me. I went through all sec lineups, no one else had more than 2 freshmen in their lineup, and auburn and kentucky had the next youngest lineups to ours, and they werent any better offensively. The job they did with the hitting was really good. The pitching is unexplainable. Lotta veteran and 2nd year players all regressing. Dont think we can just trust development with young arms. We’ll need the proven guys. The good news is that one of the 2 or so arms that improved was schmidt, and he should be back. Him, evans, and moore is a really good start. Build around it with some projects like paz and ricken, and bring in a couple proven arms.
Like Watson, he was very good before the cover 2 started limiting downfield passing. He could never make all the throws underneath and in the middle of the field to counter it. He got exposed eventually. Im not sure he’ll be good in the booth or not, always so phony, people see through that. He’ll have to find a way to be relaxed and true to succeed in this
