Suburban is great. They seem to hold better value than the Expedition Max on the used market.

I was a Chevy guy forever. Got my Expedition Max in '22. Runs great. It a turbo charged V6. I do not pull ever, so it works for me. Does fine in traffic.

We also have a Kia Carnival '24. I love driving it. We wanted a Sienna but they come at a price premium, but hold value. I do not have a lot of experience with the Odyssey, but rented one from Houston when trying to get back to Laffy with flight issues. It seemed nice. I do not think you can go wrong with either minivan if you chose that route.

As for the Telluride, and the smaller 3rd row SUVs, My kids are 12 and up, so they didn't comfortably fit in the 3rd row of those size (explorer, telluride, palisade, Acadia, traverse, highlander, etc...) You can put full sized adults in the 3rd row of the Tahoe/Suburban and Expedition/Max. The Sub and ExMax will give you good room behind the 3rd row to put luggage for trips. The Tahoe/Ex regular will not have much behind the 3rd row. The minivans will have good room in the back for luggage and will be fine for adults in the back as well. Very under utilized as they are probably the most efficient for large families (I have 5 kids).

I hope this helps.

Thanks for dropping this in this thread. The one you started had more context than this one so your moving this here is appreciated.

In general, I agree with you about the swapping the protagonist. However, this game looks fun. I hope the story provides some context as to why, but I really enjoyed that trailer.

This is a pre order for me, if it launches on PC.

Stellar Blade: Blood Rain is officially the next chapter of the action-adventure franchise from SHIFT UP. Not only will this game continue the story from the original Stellar Blade, but it will star a new protagonist named Eve.

I'm gonna get killed.

I think Captain Marvel is a good superhero movie. Her character was interesting and I liked how they told the story of or origin through the back story.

So are gamers incapable of playing a woman protagonist they can't see themselves fricking?

I don't see how this is so hard to understand.
Pretty critical crowd here. I get it. But that trailer looked good to me. I know, the movie can bomb with a decent trailer, but I'm looking forward to watching it.

What exactly does the job do and how much are they banking a year?

Power Market Analyst.

While these jobs are not very popular in Louisiana yet, there is a need. You do not need an engineering degree but can work for a Generation and Transmission company, power marketing companies, consultants and large utilities. They generally pay well, can be north of 150K but I've seen some in the low 200s with experience. Skills are generally business, finance, and economic related.

Edit: Does Over the Top count? That was a terrible movie.

frick you with this shite.

Over The Top is a national treasure.

Huge mistake.

I rode this

at Six Flags San Antonio last summer. Was super fun.

Not quite the same but....

The device has three 21-passenger trains to lift riders 150 feet in the air, then lock them in a face-first Cliffhanger hold just before dropping them down a 95-degree, beyond-vertical plummet at 60 mph. Are you bold enough to face this evil doctor and her spine-chilling creation?

The kid is taking a 3d printing class this semester and has taken to it. So I bought him a Bambu labs A1 mini. His class project was to design a new school wide bathroom/hall pass for next year and he made the final 3 for his high school. (good for him!) His/our next project is printing game prices/tokens for a space exploration game he is making.

My kid got a mini back in April for his birthday. There are many prints with useful attachments like a scraper holder and a "poo" basket. My kid is 12 so he is printing shite that makes noise and Rocktopus.... the Rock's head on a on octopus body. Anyway, He's been printing non stop since he got it. We have only used Bambu labs filament so no opinions on anything else, but its worked great. He has not had any issues so far.

The owners of Cleco Power have reached an agreement to sell the electric utility to Stonepeak Energy and Bernhard Capital Partners in a deal that will keep the firm headquartered in central Louisiana.

Nola.com link (not sure if paywalled, but I could see it)

The sale will need approval from the Public Service Commission, the five-member regulator of electric and gas utilities. When Macquarie first bought Cleco, the PSC made a host of conditions, including keeping the firm headquartered in Pineville and maintaining existing salaries and benefits for 1,200 employees.
Are we on board with Tyson if he’s there?
Tyson to the Chiefs? Would be nice.
Any chance Saints are working on George Pickens, he is signing his tag.

Except I wasn’t designing a power plant. I was giving context of how mind bogglingly big that number was. Giving a plant size which is sized for worst case scenarios plus a safety margin doesn’t do that as well as point out its orders of magnitude more than what it takes to power a medium sized city.

Ok. Got it. My misunderstanding. Carry on .

Did average, not peak.

Average what?

In relation to what size power plant you would need to build to serve the load, you use peak.

uses around 100 megawatts

There is no way this is accurate.

Lafayette uses 600MW peak.
