Did they change the strike zone when I wasn't paying attention?

To be fair, the camera angle throws it off a good bit
Posted on 5/16/24 at 6:20 pm to TheRouxGuru
Camera location needs to be moved such that visual zone is more inline with ball travel lane! I doubt it will happen!

You would have to put the camera above the batters eye. That’s not gonna happen
Posted on 5/16/24 at 6:24 pm to TheRouxGuru
Yep. Most people don’t realize this. They just see the ball and home plate and think it’s not a strike because it’s not in line from the angle they’re watching

None of those guys want to be fair. Just want to shite on umps, announcers, media etc. Sorry human beings.

Then the angle would be jacked up based on whether the ball is high/low.

From that angle wouldn't it skew to the left?
Posted on 5/16/24 at 6:28 pm to notbilly
It’s jacked up already since the camera sits well above the outfield fence.

GFY
Camera angle doesn't make up for a pitch in the opposing batters box, but I hope you're having a good time on your high horse, phag.

There is an angle which does make it hard to tell inside and out at times.
However, consistency is what you want to look for. Is the ump calling the same pitches for both teams?
The ump tonight is inconsistent as he has given Ole piss at least 3 strike calls that Jump did not get on the outside.
