Needing to upgrade from PS4 to either PS5 or Xbox Series X for NCAA 2024.

I’m getting mixed reviews from my peers on which I better. I went from PS2 to Xbox 360 then to PS4 but wasn’t a huge fan of PS4.

What say you TD?

I’ve stayed with the platform I’ve had the most investment in. And by that I mean the most purchase history. If you have any digital games on your PS4, you can continue to play them on your PS5.

I’m not a gamer other than NCAA honestly so looking to see which one is more popular for this upcoming release.

Go to the store and hold each controller in your hand, pick whatever is more comfortable for you.

PS5 vs Xbox Series X is a religious debate.

Is Madden a day 1 gamepass release? If it is, that might be enough to sway one’s opinion.

If you’re getting a new console solely for CFB ‘25 then just get the series S which is the cheapest option of all. If you intend to play other current gen games then I would recommend PS5 because it has some good “exclusives” like God of War, Final Fantasy, Horizon etc.

No, not currently but it is released onto Game Pass some time around the Super Bowl. With EA College Football being released this summer, Madden is dead to me.

I did the same and just got a Series X recently. The main deciding factor for me was Game Pass. I don’t game a ton but it’s nice to be able to mess around with a bunch of games without buying them. I do tend to like the PlayStation controller a little bit more if that’s a big deal to you.

I had them both. I kept the PS5 because of the games like spiderman and god of war. And I rather the PS5 controller. But the xbox series x is a fine machine. You cant go wrong with either to me.

No, but it wouldn't be worth it to get Game Pass for just one game anyway.

I’m a PC gamer and I love it over the consoles, but if you’re telling him to get a PC to play NCAA, you’re setting him up for disappointment because the game is only on consoles.

I have both systems and I enjoy playing on the Series X better.
