Hard Spun had the biggest arse I've ever seen on any horse. Never forgot that day drinking coffee in Dallas Keen barn the day of his win in the 2007 Lecompte. I've met ALOT of riders in my lifetime, and suffice to say, Mario Pino was by far, the nicest, jock I've ever met. So soft spoken, such a gentleman. Yet confident, and told me his plan to win. On a side note, I'm sure Appleby, was not happy by that ride on #8 in CD 7th. A 3/5 does not lose like that. Frenchy has not been the same since he fired Doug Bredar. Credit Leparoux, because he still can ride.

The Preakness always sucks, especially in bad conditions.

Well he is by Arrogate (Unbridled Song) so the pedigree with the injury is not shocking. Probably ran his last race.

Time for you to come to EVD. They are spending money again. Finally got a video board over the paddock. They replaced the old wooden fence by the paddock with a pretty but less useful low profile metal fence, they have people actually working in the concession stands, a dj playing music outside. Big time now.
