Yeah, because white people have never made good music. Just ask Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner, The Beatles, Elvis, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, or Billy Joel.

Or on this case.. Eminem.

He should have replied. "Would you tell the same to Rick Rubin?'"

Per her wiki page she was born in 1992. I've straight up been listening to hip-hop longer than she's been alive.

This is what happens when American culture and politics make worship of a certain race a civic duty

If Beyonce doesn't win every award next year at the CMA's, they are going to scream racism over and over and over and over.

Get ready for it.

So we went from black people dont raise kids to 28% don't have a father figure. Big dubs for the racist circle jerk itt.

You and the Vlad guy both. He's apparently very popular in the culture. And has interviewed quite a few rappers(along with strippers and comedians). Shoot he probably has more soul than she does.

Since education is frowned upon in the hood, her ghetto pass would be revoked.

Exactly. How’s she gonna tell me what I can listen to when she wasn’t around when NWA pretty much kicked Hip-Hop into mainstream?

Actually only 37% live with their biological father so 63% do not have their actual father living with them. A father figure is important, but an actual father would be a lot better. Discussing these things doesn’t make anyone a bigot or racist. This is a huge problem and if you’re unwilling to discuss this, then you’re part of the problem

Kind of fun that the Vikings invented rap battles centuries ago

So I guess hip hop is "cultural appropriation"?

FIFY.

Without Run DMC getting Rock Box on MTV and bringing it to suburban white kids who actually go out and buy albums, hip-hop doesn't happen.

Some actual bio dad's suck. So now step father's aren't good enough? Weak arse argument.

The original comment was black people dont comment on raising kids in response to the racist woman saying white people shouldn't comment on a rap song. That is racist. There is no defense of it not being racist, and these weak attempts to defend it are sad

I’d argue that divorce is never a “good thing” for children

I think the facetious joke went over over your head, unless you’re just always a prick. Your problem is that you’re getting more upset about an internet chat room joke than you are at a Harvard professor that teaches our future leaders making a blatantly racist statement and was completely serious while making it. Folks are getting fed up with these educated racists that are in these positions filling our youth with their bigotry and hatred. In other words, there’s a reason you’re getting downvoted into oblivion
