If diversity always equals failure on its own then we would have failed generations ago because we have always been relatively diverse

Diversity alone isn't a strength. Broadening the pool of candidates is fine. Picking the best of that pool is what makes diversity work. (It's why letting blacks in professional sports resulted in greater athletic achievement.)
Intentionally lowering standards to increase "diversity" is a step backwards.

The constitution enumerates certain things the Federal Government can do. All other things are the province of the state governments. However, The Commerce Clause allows the Feds to take other powers that are necessary to regulate commerce. Well, the Federal Government has used the Commerce Clause to do all kinds of things. In fact, the Federal Government would probably be less than half its size if it wasn’t for that clause.

When the Japanese believe something they are all in. They are in population decline and don’t give a damn. They are preserving their culture no matter what. Bringing in people just to bring them in isn’t happening there.
