If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black. You're such a loser that you'd come in 2nd in a Loser contest.

I like Burgum. No complaints at all if that’s who DJT selected as his running mate.

Some of the exact verbiage in this thread makes me think others play the NewCampaignTrail.

Can you blame him?

I can already see the narrative shifting from "Trump hires swamp people that stab in him in the back" to "Trump only hires people that are loyal to him." To a rational person, this would indicate growth in Trump. To the irrational, hiring people that won't stab him in the back will be considered a negative.

When in modern history has the VP choice added anything to any ticket? Nobody votes based on who the VP will be. It doesn’t happen. So acting like he can pick someone and they will help him with a specific voting group is just dumb. The right pick is someone that is competent, clean, loyal and can raise some cash.

Let Biden dump Kamala, and just see how many black women stay home on election day.

Burgum is the best choice. He is a successful businessman, who proved he can also govern. He is exactly the type of person who people can see stepping into a Presidential role should something unfortunate happen to Trump.

He will present a night/day difference compared to that idiot Kamala

I like burgum but anyone willing to be trumps VP gets a downvote from me. I like a person who doesn’t suck up to people and anyone that would be trumps VP is going to be a suck up or trump isn’t going to seriously consider them. As a vp, he’s a non factor. Doesn’t get any votes Trump wants a loyalist

Is there a president in modern history who publicly went looking for a Veep who would be openly disagreeable to/not loyal to the administration?

if it were for capability alone, I'd pick Burgham But in the silly society of today's politics, he adds nothing to the ticket for electability.

If it weren’t for the surety of the Dem cheat, Biden is so pathetic that Trump would have this election in the bag. Considering that, the country is better served getting someone with capability than an incompetent token that gets a few votes.

Sounds on brand for Trump.

Burgum's place is a cabinet level position with real power like Energy..

Rich white guy from a small deep red state brings nothing to the ticket

He’s a rich guy with rich friends,” said one Republican close to both the Trump campaign and Burgum’s office. “That goes a long way with Trump.
