Elite five-star safety Blaine Bradford from Baton Rouge announced his commitment to Ohio State on Monday morning, picking the Buckeyes over LSU.

Bradford, a 6-1, 207-pounder from Catholic High School, is rated the No. 1 safety in the country and No. 2 overall player in Louisiana for 2026.

Blaine's older brother, Jacob Bradford, signed with LSU in December as a four-star safety.

What kind of NIL are we offering those kids? That’s a horrible sign.

Some kids got to stay close to home and some want a new experience and something different. Good for Blaine for stepping out! Godspeed!

Seen the tape on this young prospect. Guys, no loss. Too aggressive playing safety like LaRon Landry. WIll get burnt alot playing this position. Hopefully he likes the cold weather because the job market will not hire him in LA.

Not sour grapes, just a fact. Where's Dylan Moses? Washed out is the NFL/Canada and will probably be working somewhere is BAMA. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes kids just want to move out of state and live elsewhere when getting in the private sector. Just stating people are over reacting about him and leaving to Ohio State. There's are 1000 kids with the same credentials as Bradford. Lets move on and get a young man who wants to play for LSU!!!

LSU needs save money for transfer players. High schools players might be a bust.

The new state of college FB. Don’t care anymore and my stress levels over this game are super low. Good times.

Young man will undoubtedly transfer at some point.

“Ohio State is the best place for my development and for my future.”
Joe Burrow probably said that at least once too.

You think there are shootings in north BR, go to Columbus Ohio. That is a shithole for trying to be a bigger city. For those that want to comment, I travelled there more times than I can could and spent weeks there at a time.

Baton Rouge violent crime rate is over double that of Columbus. BR is a violent shithole.
