During his press conference on Monday, head coach Brian Kelly was asked if there is an opportunity to give some of the younger players more snaps in the final three games of the season.
quote:

"From a defensive standpoint, it's all hands on deck, Kelly said."

"This isn't like, 'Hey, let's redshirt somebody for next year.' This is all hands on deck. Anybody that can contribute or help this football team, we are going to put them on the field."

All the dumbasses down below need to shut up. They worked these guys all in up til Ole Miss. They played tons of freshman. They settled on the seniors and the seniors for stability, and they did extremely well until Reed was put in at TAMU. It has literally been a game and a half. We don't face any rushing threats even close to those two the rest of the season. However I do understand his stance on getting the young guys reps now. Since we are out of the playoffs, time to go experimenting again.

If they couldn't find them after the opening loss then I'm not sure who he thinks is waiting to be discovered.

Didn’t the fraud make a similar statement not to long ago?

This is how it should have been all season to hell with seniority. Best players play.

This is all bullshite talk to appease a fanbase. He's going to do what he's always done and start Burns, Gilbert over better younger talent. Including Josh Williams who is severely lacking talent compared to Durham. Every role really. It's all appeasement.

I think there's way too much emphasis on seniority over talent which is dumb. I don't believe a senior is better than a freshman by default at all. Role like QB seniority and live SEC snaps are huge, but pretty much ever other position isn't.

Maybe put a running QB in the game. I like Garrett but he is afraid of running

That mindset should have been used during the first game and not at the end of the season.

Kelly has brought that soft ND mindset to LSU, play the big boys and get embarrassed! Like we have seen for years at ND

Just get to 10 wins. That is the goal along with keeping all the recruits for next season.
