First list should be labeled “this is what’s wrong with America”

Yep. If that's representative of the majority of folks that use e-readers, I can see why people would look down on those of us that use e-readers.

I’m ashamed to be in that category now

I've also read the 1st Hunger Games book, but just finished Gone Girl today.

So many sophisticated readers on this board. Hopefully one day I can get past the meaningless drivel that I read now and read The Brothers Kasparov or some other enlightened book.

I have only read 3 of the books between both lists, so the list isn’t my cup of tea either. But I can imagine the snide remarks of some of what I have enjoyed. The Firm comes to mind.

Nah, just label it “bitches be crazy”, cause it’s a zillion horny housewives and Katniss wannabes downloading that dreck.

On a more conciliatory note, I am amazed by the number of romance novels that clog up the best seller lists.

Cowboy brother love triangles are apparently all the rage right now.

I mean, they've essentially narrowed this list down to -

popular novels published in the last 10 years geared towards a younger generation.

So of course that list is going to be full of things that entertain, etc.
