Best app to listen to audiobooks? I see amazon offers a few free in the first 30 days if you have a prime account.

I use Bound and enjoy it, very easy to use.
I haven't really used any others so don't know how it compares though.

I use OverDrive and connect with my Library Card.
EBR Library has thousands of audiobooks on there!

Audible is the best app that I've used.
Libby/Overdrive/Hoopla is what most libraries use. I prefer Libby out of the 3. I use Libby and Audible for all of my audiobook listening.

RBdigital also uses library card. There are a few, and each has a different available list of books. They’re all free so this is your best option.

I'm just getting into audiobooks and this will be the avenue I take. I did use a free download from Audible, but will be deleting that app once I'm done with the book I'm currently listening to.

I love audiobooks. I use them as "rereads" for books I want to revisit. I also use them for long reads that I don't have time to sit down and read in the traditional manner. It's how I got through the ASOIAF series.

Love Audible but it can get expensive if you binge like I do. Trying a 30 sub with Scribd. It’s different. You don’t buy books. It’s compared to Netflix in that their entire library is available as long as your sub is current, you just don’t own the books.
Books rotate on and off (like Netflix) and they don’t have a lot of the books I want to read/listen to in the fantasy genre. But it’s not that expensive because they do have a ton of books, so you can listen as much as you desire.
