Audiobook for life on these.

Any reason? I find that Lit RPG tend to be better on paper/Kindle than audiobook.

Jeff Hays who reads the book is a national treasure. Look at the video I posted in the previous page of him working on the current book that is due out in February. He does almost every voice, there is at least 2 guest readers that I know of that do two cameo voices.

I just started the first book and enjoying it so far. I had heard of lit rpg before but never read any of it. The author of this series (Matt Dinniman) was on a recent podcast with Brandon Sanderson.

So when I saw this thread the other day, I remembered that podcast and figured I'd give it a try.

Jeff Hays is no ordinary voice actor. Just go listed assuming you haven't already.

10 more days!

I binged the shite out of these audiobooks and can’t get enough. After book 7, I have no idea what audiobook I’m going to do next.

Any news on the TV project? I read a while back where someone was saying it's going to be live action but I just can't imagine anyone spending LoTR money on Matt Dinneman and his talking cat, no matter how much I personally loved it.

Yeah, I can't imagine it being live action and it doing it justice.

Though I will say I was pleasantly surprised over the holidays stepping foot into a Barnes and Noble for the first time in a long while and seeing Dungeon crawler carl front and center in main authors section at the front of the store, so maybe the money spent on a show could surprise us.

Just finished book 2; loved it. I finished it in a few days of reading time. I haven't binge read like that in years. I went ahead and bought books 3-7.

I am almost finished with the audiobook. I like it but it isn't my favorite in the series. That being said, this thread on the OT made me laugh:

Cracks me up every time he says it. It'd be my punchline as well. I think the words I repeat the most are "god damnit cletus" to my wife's dog.

I've been working "MONGO IS APPALLED" into a lot of random conversations. Get some odd looks but I'm used to it.
